(English) Aviation Sector in the ETS from 2012: Crucial ToDo's in 2009 to avoid disadvantages. Read more in the GALLEHR+PARTNER CO2 Newsletter 09/03

From 2012 on every international airline with flights from and to the EU area will have to participate in the mandatory EU CO₂ Emissions Trading Scheme. According to Merrill Lynch the total cost of the ETS will be significant for the aviation sector and amount appr. to ¤ 3 bn annually.
